The run starts
out on Martello Field, alongside the finish line, then
up onto the beach esplanade, heading out past Martello
Tower to the turn points, then back past Martello Tower
for a short, but quite steep climb up to the rear of the
golf club. The short climb and descent is on gravel and
grass. From there you drop back down into Seaford towards
the town centre on footpath before heading back towards
the seafront to complete the lap. Please take care on
the run course as there may be other pedestrians using
the esplanade and public path sections.
When you have
completed the required laps you then filter through onto
Martello Field and through to the finish line (which is
signed and clearly visible). There are two equally spaced
feed stations on each lap of the run course and at the
finish line serving isotonic sports drink and water.
